CNB falls 6-1 to Clifton-Clyde

CLYDE — In a game halted in the bottom of the sixth inning, Citizens National Bank suffered a 6-1 K-18 Baseball NCK League loss to Clifton-Clyde on Tuesday night.
The game was scoreless through the first two innings.
Citizens National Bank scored its only run in the top of the third inning.
Braeden Primeaux and Payton Breese walked to lead off the inning.
A base hit by Caleb Hanson got Primeaux home.
Citizens National Bank loaded the bases with no outs in the top of the fourth inning, but a fly ball and two strikeouts ended the inning.
Clifton-Clyde scored two runs on two hits and a walk in the bottom of the fourth.
Tacking on four runs in the fifth inning, Clifton-Clyde led 6-1.
Citizens National Bank was shut out over the final two innings.
Cav Carlgren pitched four and two-thirds innings in suffering the loss for Citizens National Bank. Hanson finished up.
Keegun Beims had two hits for Citizens National Bank.
