Concordia man arrested in Salina following pursuit

A Concordia man was arrested at a Salina motel on multiple charges following two law enforcement pursuits that started in Cloud County.
Michael Woods, 23, and two females were located at the Red Coach Inn in Salina.
Woods had a Cloud County warrant for his arrest for aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault, burglary and driving while revoked. He was arrested on the warrant as well as additional charges in Cloud County and Ottawa County for felony flee and elude, felony obstruction and driving while revoked.
At about 1:40 p.m. Tuesday, a Cloud County Sheriff's Office deputy attempted to stop a vehicle in the 1500 section of Hawk Road for a traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle led deputies and Cloud County Highway Patrol troopers on a pursuit that continued into Ottawa County.
Law enforcement ended the pursuit of the vehicle because the driver was reaching high speeds and unsafe road conditions.
The Kansas Highway Patrol located the vehicle and began a second pursuit, which was again called off.
The vehicle was located at the motel in Salina and Woods was arrested.
