CFCC committee ratifies grants

The Community Foundation for Cloud County (CFCC) grants committee ratified grants totaling $23,761.
Grants ratified by the committee include:
Blosser Foundation Donor Advised Fund - $2,000 to Unified School District 333 for dual credit scholarships for needy students.
Kansas Health Foundation Operating Fund for Cloud County - $7,637 for annual distribution to the CFCC Administrative Fund.
Brown Grand Theatre Fund - $3,500 for operational expenses.
NCK PAWS Fund - $548 for distribution to spay and neuter costs.
Cloud County Community College Foundation Fund - $9,800 to the Cloud County Community College Foundation for video surveillance equipment in the residence life areas.
National Orphan Train Complex Fund - $276 for book donation program.
The grant committee also approved the following grants from the Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund: $5,000 to the Cloud County Community College Foundation to assist with the agriculture facility and $3,600 to the Brown Grand Opera House, Inc. to underwrite the total cost of the Veterans Day Celebration performances by pianist Thomas Pandofli; one performance for the Concordia Middle School students and one evening performance for the public.
