BOYD D. THOMAN

Boyd D. Thoman, 78 years of age, of Concordia, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2020, at the Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, Kansas. He was born on May 28, 1941, in Concordia, Kansas, to Raymond H. and Jearl G. (Kennedy) Thoman.
Boyd attended Concordia High School. On August 31, 1963, Boyd married Linda Mossburgh in Concordia, Kansas, and recently celebrated 56 years of marriage.
Boyd worked for Bowman’s Seed Company, Boogaarts in the grocery warehouse, Cloud County Community College, and later worked on his nephew Greg Thoman’s Farm.
He was a past member of the Moose Lodge in Concordia.
Boyd is survived by his wife Linda of the home in Concordia; son, Jeff Thoman and wife Shella of Concordia; daughter, Kathy Farmer and husband Jimmy of Marlow, Oklahoma; 3 grandchildren, Jessica Collette, Noah and Isaac Thoman; 3 brothers, Ted Thoman, Concordia, Kan.; Austin Thoman and wife Bev, Concordia, Kan.; Larry Thoman and wife Lorrie of Arizona; a sister, Shirley Thoman, Great Bend, Kan.; brother-in-law, Steve Mossburgh and wife Tanya; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Thoman, parents, Ray and Jearl, 6 sisters and 6 brothers.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January, 7, 2020, at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia with Fr. David Metz officiating. Interment will be in the St. Concordia Cemetery in Concordia.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2020, at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia.
