Concordia High School to crown Winter Sports royalty
Concordia High School will celebrate Winter Sports Week beginning Monday.
The Winter Sports queen and king will be crowned following the girls' basketball game against Riley County on Tuesday night. The game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
The queen candidates are Rachelle Anderson, Madelaine Blochlinger, Arista Bombardier, Terryl Loeffler and Karlee Wahlmeier.
King candidates are Layton Kindel, Tristan Mikesell, Kyle Palmquist, Robert Trost and John Tyler.
There will be a Winter Sports assembly at 2:30 p.m Tuesday in the high school auditorium. Parents and community members are welcome.
The theme days for the week include: Monday – Disney Day; Tuesday – Dress to Impress Day; Wednesday – Hunting/Camo Day; Thursday – Generations Day; Friday – Panther Day.
The Winter Sports dance will be from 10 p.m.-12 a.m. Saturday in the junior varsity gymnasium. Wing Productions will provide the music.
