CCCC captures win over Cougars 
Knocking off Barton Community College in straight sets Saturday in Bryant Gymnasium, the Cloud County Community College volleyball team improved to 5-4 overall and 2-3 in the Jayhawk Conference West Division.
Barton, which suffered its second loss after opening the season 11-0, rallied from 15-9 down to pull even at 20-20 in the opening set of the match.
Cloud County used a 5-1 run to close out a 25-21 victory.
The Thunderbirds trailed Barton 9-7 in the second set, but rallied to post a 25-20 win and go up 2-0 in the match.
Cloud County completed the sweep of the Cougars with a 25-19 in the third set.
Kenzie Cooper had 10 kills and 11 digs for the T-Birds.
Abigail Graham added six kills.
Marcella Garcia had five kills and seven digs.
Zoe Bechard also had seven digs.
Katelynn Brogan finished with 15 assists. Brette Doile had 10 assists.
