Brett Wayne Bergeson, 59, of Salina, Kansas, passed away with his family by his side on Saturday, April 30, 2022.
Brett was born in Beloit, Kansas, on January 20, 1963, a son of Anna Jeanette (Andersen) Bergeson, and the late Gerald E. Bergeson.
He grew up on the farm in the Jamestown area and graduated from Glasco High School in 1981, was baptized and a member of The Baptist Church of Concordia.
Brett was the owner of Bergeson Building Inc. and was in the construction business for 40 years. Some of his hobbies included Kart racing, NASCAR, fishing, and hunting and he loved his black labs, Turbo and Fritz.
Survivors include his mother, Anna J. Bergeson; daughter, Emily Steinert, (Kyle) of Farlington, Kansas; son, Jacob Bergeson (Drew Mussat-Loveless), of Salina, Kansas; four grandchildren, Brynlee, Blakely, Avery, Andrew; sister, Christine Seaton (Robert), of Maplewood, Minnesota; and brother, Bryan Bergeson (Shirley), of Mora, Missouri. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Cremation has been chosen.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 10 at Carlson - Geisendorf Funeral Home & Crematory in Salina, Kansas, with Pastor Kevin Hazelton officiating.
Memorials are suggested to the family for the educational fund of his grandchildren, in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home & Crematory, 500 S. Ohio St., Salina, Kansas 67401.
