Douglas “Nate” Garrett, 64, died Sept. 18, 2021, in rural Clyde, Kan. He was born Jan. 22, 1957, to John Fox & Patricia Rightmire; adopted by Calvin & Sally Garrett.
He served in the U.S. Navy on a nuclear sub (Korean War). He married Joy Novak. He was an Abe Lincoln impersonator.
Survivors: wife Joy; siblings: Viola, Dan, Scott & John; other family & friends. Preceded: parents.
Cremation was chosen. Memorial service: Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, at a later date. Memorials to the family to assist with expenses c/o funeral home. Online condolences: www.chaputbuoy.com.
