ELDA (BEHRENS) MAYFIELD

Elda (Behrens) Mayfield, 93, passed away on September 24, 2018 in Wichita, KS.
Elda was born on October 18, 1924 in Lincoln, KS to Otto and Ida Behrens. She married Leo Mayfield in 1945. She had over 25 foster children throughout the years.
She worked at Mode O' Day and the Senior Center in Concordia before moving to Derby to be closer to family.
Elda is survived by her daughter-in-law, Gail Mayfield, Andover; granddaughters, Shawna Thompson, Derby and Tosha (Greg) Mayfield-King, Winfield; great-grandson, Brady Mayfield, Douglass; and great-great-granddaughter Braelynn Mayfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo and children Dallas, Marlyn, and David.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in Lincoln, KS.
