Gary L. Miller

Gary L. Miller, age 81, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, Kansas. He was born on June 2, 1940, Concordia, Kan., to Lawrence E. & Maxine L. (Chartier) Miller.
Gary graduated from Concordia High School in 1958. He joined the U.S. Army on Feb. 27, 1962, and served active duty until Jan. 1, 1968. He began working as a mechanic for CASE IH tractor and then later worked for Johnson Auto until his retirement. Gary was an avid car lover and a member of the Heartland Auto Club.
He is survived by his sons, Loren Miller (Dena) & Lance Miller (Penelope); daughters, Stacey Miller & Kelly Jones (Terry), all of Salina, Kan.; grandchildren, Riley & Erica, Chellcy & Cari & Coalton, & sisters, Janice Brownell, Concordia, Kan., Connie Bisnett, Topeka, Kan. & Debbie Kim (Byron), Overland Park, Kan.
He was preceded by his parents & a grandson, Blake Miller.
Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2022, and the family will gather to celebrate Gary from 6-8 p.m., with military honors conducted by American Legion Post #76 & VFW Post #588 at 7 p.m., all at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia.
