Greg Whitney, 65, died July 29, 2019, at North Idaho Hospice in Coeur D Alene, Idaho.
Greg was born in Concordia and attended elementary and high school. After the death of his father, John J. Whitney, Greg and Elnora moved from Houston, Texas, to Scottsdale, Ariz. While in Scottsdale Greg worked at Bashas’ grocery store for 16 years. In 2010 Greg and Elnora moved to Coeur D Alene, Idaho.
Greg is survived by his mother, Elnora (Hammer) Whitney; brother and sister-in-law, Mike & Debbie Whitney; nieces, Carrie Whitney and Dana Price.
Greg was preceded in death by his father, John J. Whitney; sister, Carolyn Fraser, and niece, Megan Wooldridge.
Graveside services will be held October 2, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
