Harry Lee Toliver, 94, Columbia, Mo., died Sunday evening, June 5, 2022, in his assisted living apartment at Lenoir Woods retirement community, Columbia. He was born January 2, 1928, at Concordia, Kansas, to Levi and Nettie (Cline) Toliver.
He graduated from Concordia High School in the Class of 1946.
He married the former Beverly J. Van Slyke on August 27, 1949, in Concordia at the Presbyterian Church. She preceded him in death on March 1, 2002.
He was a member of First Christian Church of Concordia.
Harry was manager of the Kansas Power & Light office in Manhattan; worked as accountant for Van Valkenburg, Yonning and Sink; and retired as assistant to the comptroller at Kansas State University.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly; and is survived by a daughter, Shelly Wittwer (Jim), of Kansas City, Mo.; son, Gary Toliver (Carol), of Columbia, Mo.; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Family graveside services and burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2022, at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Concordia, Kansas, with Pastor Dwight Whitead officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Show-Me Christian Youth Home, 24302 Mahin Road, P.O. Box 6, La Monte, Mo. 65337.
