James Elliott Richard

James Elliott Richard, 75, of Loveland, Colorado, passed away May 24, 2020, at home.
Elliott was born Oct. 20, 1944, to Pearl and Ruby (Elliott) Richard in Concordia, Kansas.
He lived most of his life in Kansas, moving to Aurora, Colorado, 27 years ago. Two years ago he moved to Loveland. Elliott worked as a farmer, mechanic, hairstylist, and furniture maker.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Stacy Richard.
Elliott is survived by his children, Donna Jo (Darren) Adams of Harrisonville, Mo., and Terry Lee (Stephanie) Richard of Windsor, Colorado; grandchildren, Megan (Corey) Johnson, Connor Adams, Ashley Richard, and Logan Richard; great-grandchildren, Matteo Martinez and Emma Johnson; sisters, Patricia Lee (Larry) Wildman, Janis Elizabeth (George) Lorenzen, Shirley Anne (Frank) Spafford; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
There was a Celebration of Life Graveside Service on October 10, 2020, at St. Peter's Cemetery, Aurora, Kansas, with Father Mark Wesely officiating.
Cremation was chosen and inurnment was at St. Peter's Cemetery, Aurora, Kansas.
