Joseph Anthony Spann

Joseph Anthony Spann was born on September 27, 1964, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Margaret Smith, and passed away on November 15, 2023, at the age of 59, in Salina, Kansas.
Joseph graduated from Airline High School in Bossier City, Louisiana, in 1982. He then enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1982 and was honorably discharged in 1985.
In 1991, Joseph graduated from Louisiana Technical College with his degree in computer technology. He then worked for Microgear in Shreveport.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles and was an online gamer. He also enjoyed watching movies, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; biological father, Joseph Leone, and his mother, Margaret Smith; one grandchild, and a niece, Kaylee Campbell.
His memories will be forever cherished by his sons; Mikeal Goebel, Joey Spann, and Ezekiel Spann; three grandchildren; three sisters, Wendy Aketun (Robert), Kim Leone Cooper (Allen), and Susan Leone Burkett (Ben); one brother, Ken Wells, and several nieces and nephews.
He will be deeply missed and loved by his family and friends.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Concordia. U.S. Military Honors will be provided by the U.S. Marine Corps Honor Guard and the Concordia American Legion Post #76 and V.F.W. Post #588.
