Lana S. Michaud

Lana S. Michaud, age 73, of Concordia, Kansas, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022, at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, Kan. She was born on September 29, 1949, in Concordia, Kansas, to Abner William and Helen Maxine (Woodworth) Monty.
Lana graduated from Notre Dame Catholic High School, Concordia, Kan., in 1967. She attended Brown Mackie in Salina. She worked for the Social Security office in Topeka after her schooling in Salina. She later worked as a billing clerk for the Cloud County Health Center, Concordia, until she retired in 2014. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
Lana married Duane Michaud on April 28, 1972, in Concordia, Kan.
Survivors include her husband, Duane, Concordia; son, Rodney Michaud (Janet), Concordia; daughter, Amanda Michaud (fiancé Tony Burden), Wichita; brother, Paul Monty (Gayle), Washington; grandchildren, Brendan Michaud and Adrianna Romo (Zak); great-granddaughter, Alora Ray Romo & several nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents & a sister, Loleda Monty.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2022, with a rosary service at 5:30 p.m. and the family will receive friends after the rosary, all at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 7, 2022, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Fr. David Metz officiating. Inurnment will follow in the St. Concordia Cemetery.
