Ruth Anne Gates

Ruth Anne Gates died Friday, April 17, 2020, at The Grand Nursing Home in Bethany, Okla. She was born July 11, 1944, in Beloit, Kan., daughter of Harold and Marie Weidenhaft. On December 15, 1963, she married Everett Gates.
Survivors include a daughter, Cindy (Roy) Chase; two grandsons, Ayden and Austin Chase (Blanchard, Okla.); a brother, John Weidenhaft (Salina, Kan.); a sister, Rosie Preo (Owasso, Okla.); and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister (JoAn).
At her request, graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 23, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, at Nutter Mortuary.
