Letter to the Editor:
A huge sigh of relief coming from a mom who just survived graduation weekend!
I was naive about how stressful senior year is, then to add your baby is graduating and the party is a whole other story.
This is a huge SHOUT OUT to Nicole Reed at Cloud Corp/Broadway Plaza. It's hard in a small community to find a place to have a party. I contacted her about having a small group of students have their grad party there and she was so amazing to work with. She kindly answered all of my questions (and believe me, I had a lot for a first timer!)
The day of the event we had some last minute things, and I hated contacting her on a Saturday, but she
responded right away and helped in every way possible.
An additional shout out to Terry, one of the groundskeepers. He came when we first got there and
helped in any way, with a smile on his face the entire time. He came back to check on us a few times and see if there was anything we needed. In conversation we learned he is fairly new to the community and we had a great time visiting with him about what brought them here.
If you see either of these individuals, thank them for not only doing their jobs, but for going
above and beyond!
