To the editor,
In the Value Them Both amendment to the Kansas Constitution there is an exclusion clause that will allow babies that have been conceived by rape or incest to be murdered. Is this what we who believe every life is valuable want? Do we not want justice for the unborn regardless of how they were conceived? Should they be murdered for the crime of the parent? What about babies that are murdered when the mother's life is endangered? Aren't c-sections available and the life-saving measures available  for both mother and child?
Is it really realistic to think that women who are willing to murder their babies won't lie about how they were conceived? Abortionists and those who work with them are paid handsomely for murdering babies. Does anyone really think they will abide by the law and seek to find out how the baby was conceived?
The preborn human is the most marginalized, abandoned, bullied, beaten and left for dead neighbor in our midst. Two babies are murdered every minute of every day in the midst of thousands of bible believing churches. Regulating abortion establishes who can murder, when, where and how it can be done under the law.
Please consider this before you vote in August.
Thank you,
Barbara and Dennis Knapp
