CCCC Quiz Bowl team places third in state championship

The Cloud County Community College Quiz Bowl team placed third in the Kansas Collegiate Quiz Bowl State Championships at Salina Area Technical College.
Competing for Cloud County were captain James Allen, Benjamin Jacques, Hannah Owens and Joshua Tubbs.
Allen was the first-place individual award for answering the most toss-up questions correctly.
Cloud County was one of nine Kansas community college teams competing. The others were Allen County, Coffeyville, Cowley College, Dodge City, Fort Scott, Garden City, Johnson County and Neosho County.
