Police Dept. Report
Theft—At approximately 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, officers received a report of theft of a men's bicycle from the 700 block of East Fifth Street. Investigation continues.
Hit-and-Run—At approximately 1:40 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, officers received a report of a hit-and-run to a vehicle owned by Samantha Jeardoe, that occurred at an unknown location.
Cited--At approximately 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, officers performed a routine traffic stop at Ridgeview Drive and East College Drive. After an investigation, officers cited Deanna Whitehill, 32, Concordia, for driving while suspended.
Arrests—At approximately 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, officers received a driving complaint. Officers located the vehicle in the 100 block of East College Drive. After investigation, officers arrested James Lorence, 34, Salina, for possession of stolen property and on a Kansas Department of Corrections warrant for parole violation. The vehicle involved was stolen out of Topeka and was recovered in this incident.
At approximately 6:49 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, officers arrested Gavin Shuler, Concordia, on a Cloud County warrant for probation violation. Shuler was transported to the Cloud County Law Enforcement Center.
