Abilene defeats seventh grade boys

ABILENE — The Concordia seventh grade boys' basketball team was beaten 47-16 by Abilene on Friday.
In a game originally scheduled for Thursday, but postponed because of weather, Abilene led 9-2 after one quarter of play.
Abilene outscored Concordia 9-5 in the second period to go up 18-7 at halftime.
The Panthers were limited to seven points in the third quarter, and Abilene scored 18 to make it 36-14.
Abilene added 11 points in the final period to two for Concordia.
Payton Breese scored eight points for the Panthers.
The Concordia B-team fell 35-12 to Abilene.
Abilene had a 15-5 lead at halftime.
Concordia was outscored 20-7 in the second half.
Caleb Hanson scored four points for the Panthers.
