ABILENE — The Abilene Cowboys defeated the Concordia Panthers 49-45 in junior varsity boys' basketball play on Tuesday.
Concordia led the game 13-8 after one quarter of play.
Abilene outscored the Panthers 2-19 in the second stanza to go up 29-22 at halftime.
Concordia scored 10 points in the third period, to nine for the Cowboys, to make it 38-32.
The Panthers added 13 points in the final quarter. Abilene scored 11.
Luke Donovan led Concordia with 16 points. Ian Loudermilk scored 10.
The Concordia C-team lost 55-29 to Abilene.
Joel Gross and Christian Waterman scored seven points each for Concordia.
