Abilene tops CHS JV

Outscored 14-6 in the fourth quarter, the Concordia High School junior varsity boys' basketball team fell 62-56 to Abilene in a home game on Friday.
Abilene got out to a 21-11 lead in the first quarter.
The Cowboys scored 14 points in the second period, to 13 for Concordia, and led 35-24 at halftime.
Concordia poured in 26 points in the third quarter, and gave up 13 points, to go up 50-48.
The Panthers were limited to six points in the final stanza, and the Cowboys tossed in 14 points to get the win.
Boone Richard led Concordia with 15 points and Isaias Irigoyen added 10 points.
The Concordia C-team lost 57-18 to Abilene.
Patrick Cyphers scored six points for Concordia.
