Aurora knocks off Cloud County Co-op

Aurora scored seven runs in the fourth inning on its way to defeating Cloud County Co-op 13-5 in Girls Softball play Tuesday night at the Concordia Sports Complex.
Aurora got out to a 5-3 lead in the first inning.
Each team scored a run in the third inning, and Aurora led 6-4.
Aurora then sent nine batters to the plate and put up seven runs in the fourth inning.
Cloud County Co-op added one run in the fourth inning.
In the other game played on Tuesday, Purple Splash from Belleville rolled to a 24-7 victory over Auburn Pharmacy.
Purple Splash put up seven runs in the first inning.
Outscoring Auburn Pharmacy 5-1 in the second inning, Purple Splash led 12-1.
Mckayla Cherney hit a solo home run for Auburn Pharmacy in the inning.
Purple Splash tacked on six runs in the third inning.
Auburn Pharmacy scored four runs in the third.
Purple Splash pushed across six runs in the fourth inning and Auburn Pharmacy scored two.
