Bisnette picks up two wins

CHAPMAN - Posting two wins, Concordia's Jesika Bisnette placed second in number two singles at the quadrangular hosted by Chapman High School on Thursday.
Bisnette opened with a 6-1 victory over Emery Lord, Abilene. She fell 6-1 to Meredith Kuntz, Chapman, and then knocked off Alexa Fulmer, Wamego, 6-4.
Concordia finished fourth as a team in the event, with seven points.
Chapman easily captured the team title with 28 points. Wamego was second with 13 and Abilene was third with eight.
Lacie Duvall, playing number one singles for Concordia, opened with a 6-1 win over Maci Meuli, Abilene. She lost 6-0 to Elyssa Frieze, Chapman, and 6-3 to Kyra Grant, Wamego, and finished third.
In number one doubles, Concordia's Madelyn Stiles and Zoe Britt lost 6-4 to Adin Bruna and Maddie Murray, Abilene; 6-1 to Avery Baer and Tanith Elliott, Chapman; and 6-1 to Wamego's number one team.
Kacie Price and Daegen DeGraff played number two doubles for the Panthers. They were beaten 6-3 by Summer Bice and Aleah Ortiz, Abilene.
Price and DeGraff had to forfeit their final two matches because of medical reasons.
