Bridwell finishes fourth at Beloit

BELOIT — Turning in a time of 16:32.1, Concordia High School freshman Hannah Bridwell placed fourth individually in the Beloit Invitational cross country meet Thursday at Beloit Country Club.
Concordia had four girls competing the meet.
Freshman Skye Johnson ran 19:04.9 and finished 26th.
Aubrey Stahlman, a junior, was 45th in 21:29.3.
Senior Megan Barr placed 66th in 26:15.2.
Madi Howland, Smith Center, was the individual champion with a time of 15:28.1.
Sacred Heart won the girls' team title with 61 points. Smoky Valley Home Educators was second with 62 and Abilene was third with 76.
Concordia had just one boy run in the varsity race.
Senior Qwinter Thrash finished 35th with a time of 16:01.2.
Carson Fourard, Ell-Saline, won the race in 13:24.3.
Smoky Valley Home Educators placed first as a team with 42 points. Bennington was second with 69 and Abilene was third with 97.
In the junior varsity boys' race, Concordia's Quinn Kymer finished 16th in 19:52.3. Brody Marsh was 19th in 20:04.7 and Gunner Barnes was 20th in 20:49.1.
Concordia had three runners place in the top 10 in the 1.5 mile middle school race.
Ashlynn James placed eighth in 11:14. Kiersyn Koch was ninth in 11:17.1 and Addison Schreiber was 10th in 11:22.3.
The other Concordia runners, their placings and times, were: Bailey Conner, 16th, 11:49.9; Addyson Stensaas, 22nd, 12:14.2; Liv Kindel, 36th, 15:05.9.
Concordia runners competing in the middle school boys' race, their placings and times, include;
Cale Bridwell, 12th, 10:13.1; Daniel Reedy, 19th, 10:41.4; Baron Farha, 27th, 11:16.9; Tyler Applebee, 35th, 11:38.4.
