Bridwell records third-place finish
CLAY CENTER — Freshman Hannah Bridwell recorded a third-place finish for the Concordia High School girls' cross country team in the Clay Center Invitational Thursday at Clay Center Country Club.
Bridwell turned in a time of 20:50.70.
Concordia had three girls competing in the meet.
Aubrey Stahlman placed 55th in 27:02.70.
Megan Barr ran 34:06.60 and finished 77th.
Lauren Smith, Clay Center, was the individual champion with a time of 19:47.40.
Two Concordia boys competed in the varsity race.
Qwinter Thrash crossed in 49th place with a time of 20:18.60.
Draven Luecke was 62nd in 21:22.20.
Drew Elliott, Chapman, was the individual champion with a time of 16:47.30.
In the junior varsity boys' race, Concordia's Gunner Barnes was 46th in 25:14.50. Quinn Kymer was 47th in 25:18.40 and Brody Marsh was 49th in 25:50.10.
