CCCC goes 0-4 in Hutchinson tourney

HUTCHINSON — The Cloud County Community College volleyball team suffered four losses, including two to ranked teams, in the tournament hosted by Hutchinson Community College on Friday and Saturday.
Cloud County fell 25-14, 25-23, 25-12 to 17th-ranked Mineral Area College in its opening match on Friday.
Missouri State University-West Plains defeated the Thunderbirds 25-13, 25-21, 25-19.
Cloud County, in its first match on Saturday, was beaten 25-12, 25-20, 25-27, 25-14 by Jefferson College.
Second-ranked Indian Hills Community College knocked off the T-Birds, 25-12, 25-18, 25-21.
