CCCC halts skid with win over Dodge City

DODGE CITY — Knocking off Dodge City Community College in four sets, the Cloud County Community College volleyball team halted a four-match losing skid Saturday at the Student Activities Center.
Cloud County, now 10-5 overall and 2-5 in Jayhawk Conference play, downed Dodge City 25-19 in the opening set of the match.
The Thunderbirds slipped past the Conquistadors 25-23 in the second set to go up two sets to none.
Dodge City posted a 25-20 win in the third set.
Cloud County finished off the win by taking the fourth set, 25-23.
