CCCC women place ninth

COLUMBIA, Mo. — The Cloud County Community College women's cross country team placed ninth in the Gans Creek Classic, hosted by the University of Missouri Friday at Gans Creek Country Club.
Cloud County scored 212 team points in the meet.
Lucy Ndungu led Cloud County by placing 14th with a time of 23:04.20.
Melody Ochana ran 23:42.0 to finish 23rd for the Thunderbirds.
Abigail Fisher crossed in 55th place in 25:00.20.
Nikiola Prochazkova finished 77th in 25:54.70.
Emmy Punches rounded out the top five by placing 85th in 26:32.50.
The T-Birds also had Bailey Rock finish 88th in 26:41.90 and Aina Gois place 105th in 28:28.50.
The Cloud County men had just one runner compete in the meet.
Rylan Cheney ran 28:05.80 and placed 105th.
