Chapman defeats Panthers, 30-26

CHAPMAN — The Concordia Panthers suffered a 30-26 defeat to Chapman in eighth-grade girls' basketball on Thursday.
Concordia trailed 13-6 after one quarter of play.
Chapman tossed in eight points in the second stanza, to six points for the Panthers, to make it a 31-12 game.
Concordia scored six points in the third period and limited Chapman to five points.
The Panthers added eight points in the final quarter. Chapman tacked on four points to hold on for the win.
Camleigh Hake scored seven points for Concordia. Marlee VanMeter finished with six points.
The Concordia B-team downed Chapman, 14-5.
Brigette Blochlinger and Zaeley Garst scored three points each for the Panthers.
