Chapman holds off Panthers, 33-31

A fourth quarter rally fell just short as the Concordia eighth grade girls' basketball team suffered a narrow 33-31 defeat to Chapman in a home game on Thursday.
Concordia trailed 10-6 after one quarter.
Chapman outscored the Panthers 11-3 in the second period to extend the lead to 21-9.
Concordia tossed in eight points in the third quarter, to five for Chapman, to close the gap to 26-17.
The Panthers then doubled up Chapman, 14-7, in the final stanza, but came up two points short.
Charlize Cash pumped in 21 points for Concordia.
