CHS captures two wins over Wamego

Playing at home for the first time this season, the Concordia High School volleyball team picked up a pair of North Central Kansas League wins over Wamego Tuesday night in the Concordia Junior-Senior High School gymnasium.
Concordia, now 11-9 overall and 6-0 in league play, swept Wamego in the opening match, 25-16, 25-21.
Callie Parker had six kills, five digs and 11 assists for the Panthers in the win.
Carlie Carlgren also had six kills, as well as seven digs and three service points.
Kynlee Hamel added five kills and three digs.
Taylor McDaniel added three kills, six digs and five service points.
Kenlee Williams had three kills and four digs.
Baylen Arnold finished with 12 digs and seven service points.
Hattie Blackwood had 11 assists and nine service points with two aces.
Concordia downed the Red Raiders in two sets in the second match, 25-22, 25-14.
Parker had nine kills, six digs and six service points with two aces.
McDaniel had four kills and five service points.
Williams also had four kills.
Arnold finished with eight digs.
Blackwood had six service points and four digs.
Concordia will host its invitational tournament on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.
