CHS finishes fourth in TMP Invitational

HAYS — The Concordia High School girls' golf team placed fourth in the Thomas More Prep-Marian Invitational Monday at Smoky Hill Country Club.
Concordia posted a score of 438.
Thomas More Prep won the tournament with a  417. Cimarron was second with a 430 and Hoisington was third with a 434.
Abby Donovan turned in rounds of 47-48 to shoot a 95 for Concordia and place second individually.
Katie Donovan placed ninth for the Panthers. She shot 57-51 for a 108.
Maddie Blochlinger had rounds of 65-52 to post a 117 for Concordia.
Sreya Kemling rounded out the top four for the Panthers with 63-55 for a 118.
Michaela Wetter shot a 119 and Shea Trecek carded a 126.
Shannen Chin, Thomas More Prep, was the individual medalist with an 80.
The Panthers will play in the Class 4A regional tournament at Hesston Golf Club on October 8.
