CHS has six receive all-league honors

Four members of the Concordia High School baseball team were named All-North Central Kansas League.
Named to the All-NCKL team include senior infielder Stryker Hake, junior outfielder Caleb Hanson, junior catcher Joey Henderson and junior utility player Braeden Primeaux.
Concordia also had junior infielder Keegun Beims and junior utility player Payton Breese receive all-league honorable mention.
Hake finished the season with a .483 batting average and drove in a team-high 26 runs. He had 28 hits and scored 27 runs.
Hanson led Concordia with a .518 batting average and drove in 16 runs. He also led the team in hits with 29, runs scored with 31 and doubles with eight.
Henderson batted .400 with 11 runs batted in. He scored 28 runs.
Primeaux batted .377 with 31 runs scored.
As a pitcher, Primeaux went 5-4 2.62 earned run average. He recorded 45 strikeouts in 42 2/3 innings.
Beims had a .385 batting average with 25 runs batted in.
Breese batted .279 with 16 runs batted in and 18 runs scored.
Joining the four Concordia players on the all-league team include:
Pitchers – Mark Hoffman, Clay Center; Kyson Becker, Abilene; and Pruitt Nowlin, Wamego.
Catcher – Zach Miller, Abilene.
Infielders – Heath Hoekman, Abilene; Stocton Timbrook, Abilene; Brody Hays, Clay Center; and Aven Fisher, Chapman.
Outfielders – Carter Long, Clay Center; Cole Platson, Clay Center; Gavin Elder, Marysville; Hayden Oviatt, Wamego; and Ben Griffis, Chapman.
Utility – Thomas Keener, Abilene.
