CHS JV competes in quadrangular

MARYSVILLE — The Concordia High School junior varsity tennis team competed in a quadrangular hosted by Marysville High School on Thursday.
Kiara Rugg and Ruby Genereux placed third in number one doubles for Concordia. They defeated Zoey Schultze and Bella Kauer, Abilene, 6-0 and then fell 6-1 to Morgan Toedman and Vika Bachtold, Sabetha, and 6-1 to Micaiah Urban and Ava Spicer, Marysville.
Shanna Sulanka, playing number singles for the Panthers, lost 6-0 to Natasha Layton, Abilene; 6-0 to Kelsey Herman, Sabetha; and 6-1 to Ryann Roberts, Marysville.
In number two doubles, Concordia's Emma Ramirez and Jazlyn Hendershott lost 6-4 to Reonna Christensen and Danielle Ogdon, Abilene, and 6-0 to Brooklyn Miller and Evie McNally, Sabetha.
