CHS JV finishes second

The Concordia High School junior varsity girls' tennis team placed second in the triangular it hosted on  Tuesday.
Clay Center won the meet and Beloit finished third.
Shanna Sulanka was second in number one singles for Concordia. She defeated Abigail McAdams, 6-1, Beloit, and lost to Lydia Peterson, Clay Center, 6-1.
Concordia's Kiara Rugg teamed with Beloit's Vanessa Strathman to place second in number one doubles. They got past Morgan Weston and Abby Gantz, Beloit, 7-5 and fell 6-2 to Izzy Blackwood and Kylee Shivers, Clay Center.
Emma Ramirez and Jazlyn Hendershott, playing number two doubles for the Panthers, were beaten 6-2 by Christina Keller and Carissa Smith, Beloit, and 6-0 by Kaley Chambers and Annalea Hendrickson, Clay Center.
