CHS JV wins, 40-35

CLAY CENTER — The Concordia Panthers defeated the Clay Center Tigers 40-35 in junior varsity boys' basketball play on Tuesday night.
Concordia trailed 10-9 at the end of the first quarter.
The Panthers doubled up Clay Center 8-4 in the second stanza to take a 17-14 halftime lead.
Concordia was outscored 10-5 in the third period, and trailed 24-22.
The Panthers pumped in 18 points in the final quarter, to 11 points for the Tigers, to rally for the win.
Chane Parker scored 18 points for Concordia.
The Concordia C-team downed Clay Center, 50-47.
Concordia trailed 26-23 at halftime.
The Panthers scored 27 points in the second half to 21 for the Tigers.
Concordia had four players score in double figures, led by Logan Jackson with 12 points.
Andrew Henderson and Joel Gross scored 11 points each and Brigham Chavey added 10 points.
