CHS JV wins, 60-45

Five players scored in double figures as the Concordia High School junior varsity boys' basketball team downed Riley County 60-45 in a home game on Tuesday.
Lewis VanMeter led Concordia with 16 points.
Alexis Garcia scored 13 points for the Panthers.
Peyton Retter and Jonathan Turner finished with 11 points each and Luke Donovan added 10 points.
Concordia had a slim 10-8 lead after one quarter of play.
The Panthers outscored Riley County 20-11 in the second period to go up 30-19.
Concordia added 12 points in the third quarter, to five for the Falcons, and led 42-24.
Riley County pumped in 21 points in the final period and the Panthers scored 18.
The Concordia C-team defeated Riley County, 53-18.
Concordia led 33-16 at halftime.
The Panthers added 20 points in the second half to two points for the Falcons.
Donovan scored 24 points for Concordia and Karson Lister added 17 points.
