CHS tennis team places second

MARYSVILLE – The Concordia High School tennis team recorded a first, two seconds and a third on their way to a second place finish in the Marysville Quadrangular yesterday.
Isaac Bombardier won all three of his #2 singles matches to place first.
Elijah Steffen was 2-1 to place second in the #1 singles.
Christian Redmond and Tyson Roush teamed up to finish second in  #2 doubles with a 2-1 record.
Eric Grogan and Keegan Grogan finished 1-2 and third in #1 doubles.
The Panthers scored 11 points to finish second to Marysville with 17 points.
Bombardier defeated Brody Rosenow of Clay Center 8-3, Michael Aberita of Hiawatha 8-1 and Ben Frese of Marysville 8-2.
Steffen beat Lucas Sullivan of Clay Center 8-1, Seth Baurle of Hiawatha 8-4 and lost to Dalton Denner of Marysville 8-2.
Redmond and Roush beat Ferguson/Benfer of Clay Center 8-3, Rosa/Hughes of Hiawatha 8-0 and lost to Drey/Latta of Marysville 8-3.
Grogan and Grogan lost to Williams/ Pastine of Clay Center 8-2 and Faulkner/O'Neal of Marysville 8-2 and defeated Bryan/Nez of Hiawatha 8-2.
