CHS Track

LINDSBORG — Freshmen Charlize Cash and Kynlee Hamel placed in two individual events each for the Concordia High School track and field team in the Smoky Valley Invitational on Friday.
Cash ran 48.51 to place second in the 300-meter hurdles. She was fifth in the triple jump with a best of 33-4.
Hamel finished second in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.94. She cleared 4-8 and tied for fifth in the high jump.
The Concordia girls scored 16 points in the meet.
Buhler won the girls' team title with 111 points. McPherson finished second with 100 points and Smoky Valley was third with 71.
The Concordia boys scored three points.
Southeast of Saline captured the boys' team title with 107 points. Chapman was second with 75 and Buhler was third with 74.5.
Cash and Hamel teamed up with Jesika Bisnette and Aubrey Stahlman to place sixth in the 4x100 relay with a time of 53.94.
The Concordia boys had Aceyn Cash place fifth in the high jump by making 6-0.
Cole Hobrock cleared 11-0 to finish sixth in the pole vault.
