CHS wrestlers honored at banquet

Members of the Concordia High School wrestling team were honored during a banquet Monday night at the Concordia Junior-Senior High School.
Junior Daniel Vines was presented the Outstanding Wrestler Award.
Vines placed second in the 126-pound class at the Class 4A state championships. He finished the season with a 38-2 record.
Senior Teggan Workman received the Outstanding Female Wrestler Award.
Tracer Murdock, a freshman, was named the recipient of the Outstanding Young Wrestler Award.
Senior Toby Wahlmeier received the Panther Leader Award.
Keyan Miller, a senior, was named the recipient of the Doug Moore Scholarship.
Miller, Workman and senior Nathan Brown were selected to the Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association All-Academic first team. Wahlmeier received honorable mention.
Panthers receiving varsity letters include:
Miller, Wahlmeier, Brown, Vines, Workman, Christian Belden, Ashton Dooley, Logan Leiszler, Drew Sterrett, Easton Swihart, Cody Trost, Caleb Hanson, Michael Ashland, Braxton Kindel, Koby Tyler, Taley Murdock, Keely Kindel, Jesika Bisnette and Daegan DeGraff.
Receiving minor letters include:
Keigan Workman, Carter Eakins, Torxsten Kindel, Bergun Kindel, Dustin Sterrett, Mason Eickmann, Jacob Barr, Jadrian Riley and Connor Novak.
