Clay Center rallies past Panthers

Clay Center used a big fourth quarter to hand the Concordia eighth grade boys' basketball team a 36-33 home loss on Thursday.
Concordia led the game 26-19 after three quarters of play.
Clay Center poured in 17 points in the final period, and limited the Panthers to seven points, to rally for the win.
Baylor Knox scored 13 points for Concordia. Chane Parker added eight points.
Concordia led the game 9-4 after one quarter of play.
Clay Center scored eight points in the second stanza, to seven for the Panthers, to make it 16-12 at halftime.
Concordia then outscored Clay Center 10-7 in the third period to take the 26-19 advantage.
The Concordia B-team fell 26-21 to Clay Center.
Clay Center was up 18-10 at halftime.
Concordia scored 11 points in the second half, to eight for Clay Center.
Coleman Plymesser scored 11 points for Concordia.
