CNB claims win over Republic County

Scoring the final eight runs of the game, Citizens National Bank defeated Republic County 10-2 in K-18 Baseball NCK League play Friday night at the Concordia Sports Complex.
Republic County broke a scoreless tie with two runs in the top of the fourth inning.
Citizens National Bank tied the game at 2-2 with two runs in the bottom of the fourth.
Deekon Holbert singled with one out and came around to score the first run in the inning.
Aden Morris also singled and scored.
Citizens National Bank went on top to stay, 5-2, with three runs in the fourth inning.
Cole Britt walked with two out and Francisco Ayala singled.
Britt would score the first run in the inning.
Ayala came around to score and Stratton Garst was hit by a pitch and scored.
Holbert doubled in the inning.
Citizens National Bank added five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to end the game because of the eight-run rule.
Brody Knox and Britt got things started with consecutive walks. Each would score.
Ayala singled and scored.
Garst and Morris each walked and scored.
Adam Krohn pitched all six innings to get the win. He gave up two runs on five hits, struck out two and  didn't walk any.
Holbert had three hits in the game for Citizens National Bank.
Ayala had two hits and scored two runs.
Krohn had two hits.
Garst, Morris and Britt scored two runs each.
