CNB rolls past Republican Valley

Citizens National Bank picked up its first K-18 Baseball win of the season by knocking off Republican Valley 12-2 in four innings on Friday at the Concordia Sports Complex.
Drew Sterrett scored a run in the bottom of the first inning to give Citizens National Bank a 1-0 lead.
Republican Valley put up two runs in the second inning.
Sending 15 batters to the plate, Citizens National Bank erupted for 11 runs in the third inning to go on top 12-2.
Citizens National Bank held Republican Valley scoreless in the top of the fourth inning and the game ended because of the 10-run rule.
Adam Krohn pitched all four innings to get the win for Citizens National Bank.
Sterrett scored three runs in the game.
Krohn, Deekon Holbert and Stratton Garst scored two runs each.
Citizens National Bank dropped the three-inning, non-league game to Republican Valley, 7-4.
The game was tied at 2-2 through two innings of play.
Republican Valley scored five runs in the top of the third inning to go up 7-2.
Citizens National Bank picked up two runs in the bottom of the third.
Garst scored two runs for Citizens National Bank.
