Concordia golf team sweeps team titles

BELLEVILLE — The Concordia Panthers swept the team titles and had three individuals place in the top 10 in the Republic County Invitational golf tournament Monday at Belleville Country Club.
Sophomore Lewis VanMeter turned in rounds of 44-38 to card an 82 and place second individually for Concordia.
Senior Braxton Kindel, with rounds of 44-41, shot 85 and placed fifth for the Panthers.
Hayden Dvorak, a senior, had rounds of 42-44 to tie for sixth place with an 86.
Kindel and Dvorak teamed up to win the two-man division with a 171.
Van Meter, Keegan Hamel, Aden Plymesser and Luke Donovan placed first in the four-man division with a 357.
Hamel shot a 91.
Plymesser and Donovan each shot 92.
Concordia placed first in the six-man division with a 528.
Ian Floersch, Clay Center, was the individual medalist in the tournament with an 80.
