Concordia JV has Joubert place first

ABILENE — Blaike Joubert recorded a first-place finish for the Concordia High School junior varsity in the Abilene Invitational wrestling tournament on Friday.
Joubert placed first in the 106D class. He pinned Jake Hodges, Ell-Saline, and pinned Joel Louderback, Wamego.
Braytin Hake placed second in the 138A class for Concordia. He lost by fall to Kage Werber, Salina Central, and then pinned Blake Priester, Salina South, and pinned Kaeson Curtis, McPherson.
Clay Viereck finished second for the Panthers in the 190B class. He lost by fall to Jace Littel, Wamego; won a 12-1 major decision over Braxton Burgess, McPherson; and then lost in a tiebreaker, 5-3, to Romoni Sprague, Salina Central.
Brady Roberts placed second in the 215C class. He lost by fall to Parker Linenberger, Hays, and pinned Maddox Moore, Ell-Saline.
Andrew Romero went 1-2 and finished third for Concordia in the 190C class. He lost by fall to Landon Steinlage, Wamego; lost 4-3 to Carl Graves, Junction City; and defeated Chaz Roth, Phillipsburg, 4-3.
