Concordia JV suffers loss to Marysville

MARYSVILLE — The Concordia junior varsity boys' basketball team fell 50-44 to Marysville on Tuesday.
The game was tied at 11-11 at the end of the first quarter.
Concordia was limited to four points in the second stanza, and Marysville scored 12, to go up 23-15.
The Bulldogs outscored the Panthers 17-10 in the third quarter to up its lead to 40-25.
Concordia tossed in 19 points in the final period. Marysville scored 10.
Luke Donovan paced the Panthers with 17 points. Peyton Retter scored 11.
The Concordia C-team defeated Marysville, 41-26.
Concordia led 18-6 at halftime.
The Panthers added 23 points in the second half to 20 for the Bulldogs.
Alan Garcia scored 20 points for Concordia.
