Concordia Lions roll past Legion

Scoring 10 runs in each the first and second innings, the Concordia Lions rolled to a 20-2 Peewee Baseball win over the American Legion Monday night at the Concordia Sports Complex.
The American Legion took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning.
Sending 13 batters to the plate, the Lions answered with 10 runs in the bottom of the inning.
Maddox Frey homered, walked and scored two runs in the inning for the Lions.
Logan Jackson also scored two runs.
Ten runs in on four hits and five walks in the second inning gave the Lions the 20-2 advantage.
The game ended after the top of the third inning.
Drake Blochlinger and Rush LeDuc pitched for the Lions.
In the other game played Monday night, the Chevy's nocked off the Knights of Columbus, 12-1.
The Chevy's grabbed a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning.
The Knights of Columbus scored its only run in the bottom of the first.
Four runs in the second inning gave the Chevy's a 7-1 cushion.
The Chevy's tacked on three runs in the third inning and two in the fourth.
Boone Richard and Drew Sterrett did the pitching for the Cheyv's.
Richard and Baylor Knox scored three runs each.
