Concordia Lions top American Legion

Scoring three or more runs in each inning, the Concordia Lions cruised to an 18-5 Peewee Baseball victory over the American Legion Monday night at the Concordia Sports Complex.
The Concordia Lions jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning.
Three runs in the second inning gave the Concordia Lions a 7-0 advantage.
Tacking on four runs in the top of the third inning, the Lions led 11-0.
The American Legion scored all of its runs in the bottom of the third inning.
Sending 11 batters to the plate, the Lions put up seven runs in the top of the fourth inning.
Elijah Shepard homered in the inning for the Lions.
Tyler Applebee and Kenton Robeson did the pitching for the Lions.
Jerrick Williams and Keagan Merritts had two hits and scored two runs each for the Lions.
Gavin Robinson scored three runs.
In the game played Monday night, the Knights of Columbus downed the Concordia Chevrolet Chevy's 15-5.
The Knights of Columbus led the game 7-5 after one high-scoring inning.
Putting up three runs in the second inning, the Knights of Columbus had a 10-5 cushion.
The Knights of Columbus added five runs in the fourth inning.
Brady LaBarge pitched for the Knights of Columbus.
LaBarge, Jack Gilliland and Peyton Ryals scored three runs each for the Knights of Columbus.
